Can you lend a paw?

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Mountain Paws Pet Care Fund is holding a public meeting on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 3:00 pm.  We will be meeting at Nederland Veterinary Hospital 646 Hwy 119 S, Nederland CO.

We are already in the throes of planning a fundraiser to be held sometime in late February or early March.  The Very Nice Brewing Company has agreed to sponsor us.

Volunteers are needed as follows:

Development

• Grant Writers
• Event planning
• Fund raising
• Large donor
• Special projects

Public Relations

• Web site
• Outreach

Application Approval

• Application review
• Funding

We also would like to hold a large summertime fundraiser. One idea was a dog walk in conjunction with the Nederland Farmer’s market. Many great minds can come up with great ideas. If this is of interest to you the Development Committee needs you.

Anyone with wanting to serve in public relations can really be an asset to us. Keeping our organization visible and information current on the web site, Facebook and Instagram can be a key component to our success.

Once we have funds we will be accepting applications. We need individuals available to review these on an as needed basis. Thank goodness for e-mail, text and other forms of electronic communication that are available to us to expedite communications!

Once people decide what area they are interested in, we can break out into groups and then decide when to meet further.
